Nestled along the Narrows Channel, The Lakes Old Forge offers a beautifully designed, year round Adirondack retreat where comfort, charm and modern amenities (including A/C and excellent Wifi), come together. The Lakes features 10 cottages, and each accommodation includes its own outdoor space with Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, and a private fire pit. Every cabin is named after a lake in the Fulton Chain, adding a meaningful local touch to your experience.

Additionally, our property offers a beautiful, shared waterfront with two expansive decks overlooking the Narrows Channel and a small swim area with a sandy bottom. Guests love unwinding here, watching boats drift by, and taking in the quintessential Adirondack scenery. The dock is a favorite gathering spot, where kids and adults alike enjoy fishing for pike, perch and bass right from the shoreline.

Registered guests have access to complimentary kayaks, canoes, and SUP (stand-up paddleboards). For those looking to venture farther, boat rentals are available right on site—just steps from the cottages—offering a simple and convenient way to explore the Fulton Chain of Lakes.

Our location offers the perfect blend of privacy and convenience. The property is a leisurely walk to town or just a quick 2-minute drive, where you’ll find shops, waterpark, restaurants, cafés, and local favorites.
